Bad Girls was an award winning British TV show that aired on ITV from 1999-2006. The show followed the lives of the female inmates and their prison guards on "G Wing" at Larkhall prison.
The seasons of the show that I chose to use footage from for my videos were seasons 1-3. The reason why is because they followed the wonderfully moving storyline of the relationship between hard nosed but respected by her fellow inmates "Nikki Wade" played realistically by Mandana Jones. And the new Governor of "G Wing" who is out of her depths dealing with the everyday goings on of the wing "Helen Stewart" played by the beautiful Simone Lahbib.
I have to say that it was one of the best lesbian story-lines I have seen on a regular broadcasting network. The up's and downs of their growing love story was so moving and you can't help but fall in love with both characters.
I found a great mews within these two characters and their story and ended up making the most videos I have made for one show 11 to date.
